The holiday season is a wonderful time to visit the library! Stop in before or after Zeeland’s Magical Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on December 1 to browse and borrow your favorite holiday books and movies — we’ll be open until 8:00 PM.
Throughout December, we’ll be hosting a variety of holiday events for all ages. Visit our website to explore the full schedule and join in the festivities.
If you love to color, you won’t want to miss our Holiday Coloring Contest! Pick up a coloring sheet at the Circulation Desk, return your finished masterpiece by December 31, and enjoy seeing your artwork displayed in the library. Winners will be selected across multiple age categories.
Although this is not a library-sponsored program, we are thrilled to once again welcome the Holland Modular Railroad Club and their spectacular train display to the lower level of the Howard Miller Community Center. Operated entirely by dedicated volunteers, the exhibit will be open Monday through Thursday, December 8–18, from 6:30–8:00 PM, and on Saturdays, December 13 and 20, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Admission is free, but donations of non-perishable food items for His Harvest Stand at City on a Hill are warmly encouraged.
Don’t miss this beloved community tradition — a holiday favorite for all ages!
