Force Main Construction & Re-Paving of Roosevelt, Oak & Ottawa Streets

**July 27, 2017 State Street Lane Closure**

State Street will be down to one-lane traffic (directed by flagmen) between Madison and Roosevelt on Thursday, July 27th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM as part of continuing force main sanitary sewer project work.

Portions of Roosevelt, Oak & Ottawa Streets will be impacted with construction and re-paving as a result of a force main construction project that will connect Holland Township with the City of Zeeland's expanded Clean Water Plant. The expansion of the plant and the connection with Holland Township is projected to be completed in August 2017. Below are the tentative construction & re-paving dates:

Project Update-State St. & Roosevelt Intersection Closure
The intersection at State & Oak is scheduled to be shut down on July 5, 2017 for utility work. The work will take up most of the roadway, so both northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured. This work is anticipated to be completed in 2 days and then work will begin to restore the intersection. The intersection is anticipated to be re-opened to traffic by the weekend. Please click below to see a detour map for this intersection closure:

After the completion of the State Street work, there will be some additional work on Oak Avenue to pour new concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter which may require a temporary lane closure.

Tentative Paving Schedule

State Street - July 21, 2017
Roosevelt - August 1-4, 2017
